Continues the study of electronic spreadsheets in business. Emphasizes the advanced application of electronic spreadsheets. Students are required to demonstrate course objectives through the appropriate Microsoft certification examination.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be expected to:- Import and export data to and from spreadsheets.
- Apply advanced number formatting techniques, and work with ranges.
- Customize spreadsheets for use in specific business situations.
- Work with queries on external data and XML Web queries.
- Perform “what-if” analysis and scenario management.
- Create and run macros in spreadsheets.
- Complete a comprehensive business project applying all the skills learned.
- Recognize special and/or advanced software features as they relate to software certification.
