A field study class is comparable to on-the-job training activities directly related to the Homeland Security/Public Safety program of study.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

  1. Learn technical skills while on the job and earning credit.
  2. Grades will be dependent on your supervisors’ input.
  3. Apply in-class knowledge in the industry.
  4. Identify workplace responsibilities and relate them back to your advisor.
  5. Work initiatives will be identified.
  6. Practice following instructions.
