The course covers the Department of Transportation regulations related to natural gas companies, including leak survey and patrol requirements.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

  1. Understand the requirements for effective leak survey and patrol requirements. [a, e, f, g, i]
  2. Learn how the Department of Transportation Regulations is used in natural gas companies. [a, e, g, h, i]
  3. Internal and external corrosion testing, identification and monitoring. [a, e, g, i]

  6. Prevent damage to natural gas lines. [a, e, f, g, i]
