The course covers the Department of Transportation regulations related to natural gas companies, including leak survey and patrol requirements.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Understand the requirements for effective leak survey and patrol requirements. [a, e, f, g, i]
- Learn how the Department of Transportation Regulations is used in natural gas companies. [a, e, g, h, i]
- Internal and external corrosion testing, identification and monitoring. [a, e, g, i]
- Identify the integrity of the pipeline. [a, e, g, h, i]
- Understand the requirements for regulatory reporting. [a, e, g, h, i]
- Prevent damage to natural gas lines. [a, e, f, g, i]
- Learn how to apply and use the regulations identified by the Department of Transportation. [a, e, g, h, i]
