An opportunity for the intermediate paralegal student to acquire valuable field experience by working under attorney supervision. The student keeps a journal and prepares a report of his or her experience at the end of the semester.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to

  1. Discuss and demonstrate the interrelatedness of school and work.
  2. Apply the theories from the textbooks and classroom to the realities and practicalities of the workplace.


COURSE CONTENT: Topical areas of study include -  

  • Culmination of PARA topical areas relevant to specific work environments.
