Continues RADT 112 - Image Production and Evaluation I . Explains phototiming and its relationship to manual techniques. Associates kVp and mAs with the quality and quantity of radiation. Covers digital imaging, automatic processing, fluoroscopy and quality assurance
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student is expected to:
- Discuss Quality Management and list types of tests and frequency.
- Criticize an aspect of Quality Control
- Compare and contrast digital imaging systems.
- Define terminology associated with digital imaging systems.
- Evaluate and determine the cause of common image acquisition errors.
- Describe the various types of digital receptors and how the image is acquired.
- Discuss post processing and the benefits on image display. Explain data management to include HIS, RIS, PACS, and DICOM.
