This course will provide qualifying students an opportunity to work at a job site that is specifically related to their career objective. This class will provide on- the-job experience while earning credit toward an Associate degree.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Demonstrate proper shop practices in the workplace. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
- Adhere to all employment requirements of the host worksite. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
- Complete evaluation forms and return to Program Chairperson. (f)
- Complete list of trucks repaired, and ASEF tasks performed. (a,b,c)
- Role-play a working technician performing professional truck repair. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
- Strive to achieve flat rate time on all repairs. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment to diagnose and repair trucks. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
- Repair trucks to manufacture specifications. (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i)
