This course focuses on turning innovative ideas into actionable ventures through product development and strategic launch planning. Students will design and build a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) to demonstrate feasibility and market potential. Emphasis is placed on creating persuasive, audience-focused presentations and pitch decks that clearly communicate value, impact, and sustainability. Learners will also develop a startup launch and exit strategy, integrating operational, financial, and marketing components to ensure real-world readiness. By the end, students will finalize their business plan and take the final steps toward a successful launch.

 

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be expected to:

  1. Build a prototype or minimum viable product.
  2. Formulate a comprehensive startup launch strategy.
  3. Create a business plan that integrates operational, financial, and marketing components.
  4. Develop a clear, persuasive, and audience-appropriate business presentation.
  5. Articulate the business product or service in a pitch competition or showcase setting.
