This course presents troubleshooting and repair practices related to electrical and hydraulic system equipment. Major systems within an integrated process will be studied with an emphasis on diagnosis, testing, and maintenance of machinery.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Identify communication bus systems utilizing waveforms.
- Diagnose and repair communication BUS faults.
- Explain vehicle navigation system operation.
- Check fluid level and condition; take a hydraulic fluid sample for analysis; determine needed action.
- Troubleshoot mobile hydraulic systems utilizing diagnostic practices found in agriculture equipment industry.
- Interpret fluid power circuit and schematic diagrams on mobile hydraulic systems.
- Perform maintenance practices on agriculture equipment.
- Locate problem points in a mobile fluid power system and recommend solutions.
- Disassemble and reassemble fluid power components.
- Inspect, evaluate, service and maintain industry related components.
- Perform troubleshooting practices regarding electrical circuits on agriculture equipment
