ENTR 255 - Entrepreneurship Bridge Course


PREREQUISITES: Completion of ENTR 100 - Entrepreneurial Foundations and ENTR 200 - Entrepreneurial Mindset & Awareness  (from the entrepreneurship certificate offered between Fall 2021 and Summer 2024).

This course bridges the gap between the old and new Entrepreneurship curricula. It aligns foundational entrepreneurial concepts from the old certificate with the new curriculum, focusing on lean marketing strategies and financial foundations. Students will explore concepts in lean marketing, customer validation, and financial management, ensuring a smooth transition between the curricula.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be expected to:

  1. Apply lean marketing principles and strategies to their entrepreneurial ventures.
  2. Conduct in-depth market analysis and customer segmentation.
  3. Understand and apply foundational financial concepts relevant to new ventures.
