Instruction in techniques of aircraft operations. Students will begin and continue flight training toward a FAA Single-Engine Land Commercial Certificate.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be expected to;
- Review the maneuvers and procedures necessary to meet the standards contained in the FAA Commercial Pilot Practical Test Standards.
- Design and document appropriate flight plans.
- Demonstrate correct usage of airplane instruments.
- Review airspace maps and charts and determine restrictions and best-case flight paths.
