Introduces organization and management procedures focusing on subcontracting, equipment and tool inventories, job materials, codes, inspections and permits.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Demonstrate an overall perspective of what is required to get a job started.
- Work well with finance concepts and their application.
- Demonstrate the appropriate application procedure for permits.
- Demonstrate all requirements for meeting inspections and zoning guidelines.
- Think critically and independently analyze, synthesize, and evaluate technical problems and information.
- Identify and interpret health, safety, and welfare standards as dictated by local, state or federal agencies.
