Gives students the opportunity to work at a job site that is specifically related to their career objectives. Provides on-the-job experience while earning credit toward an associate degree.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Illustrate the key aspects of writing a resume.
- Develop an effective cover letter.
- Demonstrate skills in a mock interview for job placement.
- Apply skills learned in the workplace.
- Identify business protocol, ethics, and standards of business conduct.
- Develop vocabulary and language of occupation related to internship.
- Explore and validate technical career decisions.
