Presents the principles and processes involved in the evaluation, design, and presentation of sustainable design practices as they relate to site development.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Understand methodologies involved in ascertaining client program requirements.
- Comprehend the impact upon the planning process of client required revisions to existing plans and specifications.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate design concepts to the client.
- Develop team building skills.
- Contribute to the development of a professional presentation that illustrates desired site planning outcomes.
- Demonstrate the ability to self evaluate project time tables, quality, and client expectations.
