This course will continue to build on the knowledge acquired in OB/Gyn Sonography I and Lab along with learning pathologic indications and second and third trimester obstetric scanning.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Identify, both on diagram and sonographic image, normal and abnormal fetal anatomy. Perform basic protocol for second and third trimester sonography.
- Describe the effects of pathophysiology on maternal and fetal organs and organ systems.
- Define fetal evaluation for anomalies and well being and testing methods or protocols used for such testing.
