This course will continue to build on the knowledge acquired in OB/Gyn Sonography I and Lab along with learning pathologic indications and second and third trimester obstetric scanning.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

Identify, both on diagram and sonographic image, normal and abnormal fetal anatomy. Perform basic protocol for second and third trimester sonography.
Describe the effects of pathophysiology on maternal and fetal organs and organ systems.
Define fetal evaluation for anomalies and well being and testing methods or protocols used for such testing.
