Introducing students to object-oriented programming and design. Emphasis on engineering application.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

  1. Use MATLAB to solve engineering problems.
  2. Write MATLAB programs (scripts) and functions.
  3. Create a Simulink model of a simple system.
  4. Set parameters and run a Simulink model of a simple system.
  5. Create a sub-system.
  6. Link Simulink model data to/from MATLAB and files.
