This course will help students learn basic principles and fundamental skills for employment as a Craps dealer. It includes chip handling and cutting, call bets, procedures, accuracy and game speed. Requires the development of quick mental multiplication and game speed, and knowledge of all bets and procedures for payoffs. Special attention is paid to managerial aspects of Craps.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

Distribute casino chips and handle with requisite skill to count denominations and make payoffs.
Demonstrate all procedural aspects of the game of Craps.
Demonstrate stick calls and procedures.
Recite all odds and place bet payoffs.
Develop and practice knowledge of keys and other math tendencies for the computation of bets.
Describe game protection and cheating protection from a dealer’s perspective.
Describe all corresponding paperwork concerning fills, credits, and markers from a dealer’s perspective.
