Assists students in developing critical thinking strategies with academic and workplace applications.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Apply “brainstorming” and creative thinking techniques.
- Identify types of choices and applications.
- Demonstrate and apply a broad set of thinking tools.
- Identify patterns utilized for the purpose of making predictions.
- Discern cause and effect thinking and applications.
- Generate and test hypotheses.
- Research and determine the relevancy of information applied to a given situation.
- Analyze the element of risk when making decisions.
