An overview of how to manage personal finances. The course includes information in the areas of personal finances, loans, credit, and investing.

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to determine which savings methods will work best for their personal financial situation.
  2. Evaluate and describe the process of getting personal loans (Car and Home Loans).
  3. Interpret information concerning their personal financial status and then develop a personal plan to improve their credit rating.
  4. Research and compare investment opportunities and then create a personal investing plan.
