An overview of how to manage personal finances. The course includes information in the areas of personal finances, loans, credit, and investing.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Demonstrate the ability to determine which savings methods will work best for their personal financial situation.
- Evaluate and describe the process of getting personal loans (Car and Home Loans).
- Interpret information concerning their personal financial status and then develop a personal plan to improve their credit rating.
- Research and compare investment opportunities and then create a personal investing plan.
