This course enhances success in college by assisting students in obtaining the skills necessary to identify their life, educational, and career goals, specifically in the area of academic and programmatic offerings that support possible career choices.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Identify and use career development resources.
- Create life, educational, and career goals.
- Identify professional opportunities that correspond with interests and abilities.
- Demonstrate decision-making, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate an awareness of professional networking within the global marketplace.
