Provides advanced instruction and experience with design projects/branding identity, which communicate a common theme or campaign through several different media - magazine, billboard, radio, television, direct mail, brochures, point of purchase, sales promotions and/or package design, etc. Produces samples for student portfolios.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Create an effective campaign(s).
- Develop a distinctive, unified identity package.
- Develop marketing concepts by completing creative briefs based on global, corporate and social applications and target audience.
- Plan the positioning of the product or service.
- Select appropriate advertising media by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various advertising media.
- Present and provide feedback to peers, clients, faculty, or advisors in a formal jury presentation.
