Stresses the management concept relating to employee attitudes, motivation and job satisfaction, as well as philosophies, styles of leadership, and team building as they relate to quality objectives.

 

MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:

 

1.    Plan for and organize product effectiveness and quality.

2.    Understand how to design for product reliability, product producibility, and product maintainability of products, calculate quality costs and be aware of consumerism and liability.

3.    Create and facilitate a quality improvement team and understand the leadership of a quality organization and the factors influencing quality.
