Construction process and construction methods of typical agriculture buildings. Course will include extensive hands-on laboratories involving the construction of an agriculture structure.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Demonstrate the principles of building an agriculture structure.
- Utilize proper safety techniques when constructing a building.
- Demonstrate how to read blueprints.
- Explain the process of purchasing building materials and supplies.
- Describe the methods needed to get building permits.
- Describe the process of constructing pole barn building.
