CREDIT HOURS MIN: 3 Defines nursing and the role of the licensed practical nurse as a member of the healthcare team. Explores conceptual learning, definitions of concepts within the curriculum, and strategies to foster student success. Examines professionalism and care coordination in relation to the role of the licensed practical nurse. Introduces the concepts of communication and safety within nursing practice.
