About the Program
The Building Construction Management program at Ivy Tech is taught by highly qualified and experienced faculty. Students will benefit from the use of technology and industry recognition of our program. Classes will focus on estimating, project management, and construction business management as well and electives and site field trips tailored to the students’ interests. Internships will provide students with the learning experiences and confidence they need to build their resume.
Students earn several credentials while working toward their degree, including the ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I Certification, the International Code Council General Contractor Certification, and the OSHA 30-hour card.
Our Graduates
The Building Construction Management program prepares students for careers in building construction estimating, project management, business management, and supervision. Several of our graduates have been able to find great jobs with our industry partners like Blundall Associates, Hamilton Hunter Builders, the Hagerman Group and more. Graduates will have the foundation needed to begin a career or to transfer to the four-year university of their choice.

Completion Guides
Completion guides provide the recommended path to graduation, broken out by 8-week term. Courses are also numbered to show an overall number for students taking fewer classes at a time. Please consult with your advisor to determine which classes are the best option for you to take.
