Electrical engineering and electronics technology are fast-changing fields vital to almost every facet of modern life, and many employees and entrepreneurs are needed every year to meet demands.  If you like math, science, and technology, EET may be the choice for you.  With the EET-AS degree, you can get a high-paying job, and continue to work on a Bachelor’s degree at IUPUI or another university.

About the Program

The Electrical Engineering Technology program prepares students for a variety of careers in technology, such as computing, networking, communications, electrical power and machinery, process control and automation, robotics, energy management, and transportation. The program develops knowledgeable and skilled technologists who can work with engineers and technicians to implement electronic designs and perform engineering tasks such as collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, prototyping, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electronic systems. Students can acquire the associate level Certified Electronics Technician (CET) certification. 

Our Graduates

Graduates of our Associate of Science (AS) degree can seamlessly transfer to a four-year institution through our “Transfer as a Junior” program, entering at a junior status. To learn more about our Transfer as a Junior programs, and how they can save you money, visit our TSAP page. Please keep in mind, you will also need to be admitted to the four-year institution you intend to transfer to, admission is not guaranteed just by enrolling in a Transfer as a Junior program.
