About the Program

he Environmental Design program blends classroom, studio and field experiences together.  From the start of the first semester, students are working on developing, designing and renovating projects that include the sustainable, healthy and beautiful creation of homes, work, landscapes and communities.  Instructors in the Environmental Design program are design professionals that truly understand the importance of putting theory into practice.

Throughout the two year program, students will be working on a design portfolio and working in an internship to gain real-world design experience.  The Environmental Design program also partners with several businesses who serve on the advisory committee to ensure that our students are learning the most up-to-date design techniques possible.
