About the Program
Aviation is a career field that students will find both rewarding and exciting. Our knowledgeable instructors come to us from a wide range of industry backgrounds. Their continued involvement in the industry keeps the skills and information taught in the program current and vital.
All aviation specific classes are in face-to-face format at the Ivy Tech’s Aviation Center at Smith Field Airport in Fort Wayne. Classes run in 4-hour blocks during 8, 10 or 16 week sessions, depending on the semester. Due to federal regulations, attendance is critical to the success of the student enrolled in this program.
