- Analyze products and services related to network infrastructure that provide connectivity between all active components involved in a network.
- Examine dedicated physical and/or virtual storage networks.
- Recognize basic networking components and terms including the Open System Interconnection model, network devices, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, Internet Protocol addressing, router and the network device operating system basics.
- Explain and differentiate advanced network services, access control lists, basic switching, and switch configuration.
