DEGREE OUTCOMES


  • Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovative thinking to identify and evaluate business opportunities. Articulate the “why” behind entrepreneurial ventures, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in dynamic market environments.
  • Create and execute lean marketing plans tailored to new ventures. Use market research, customer segmentation, and branding strategies to develop cost-effective campaigns that promote product-market fit and growth.
  • Develop and validate effective business models. Map customer journeys, network effectively, and pitch business ideas confidently, laying the groundwork for successful business development.
  • Demonstrate financial literacy by preparing and analyzing essential financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements). Estimate capital requirements, prepare break-even analyses, and develop adequate cash and asset management strategies.
  • Assess the legal, financial, and operational aspects of running a small business, including legal structures, government regulations, risk management, and logistics. Evaluate different funding options and create strategies for sustainable growth and business continuity.
  • Create and test prototypes or minimum viable products, develop go-to-market strategies, and prepare to launch new ventures. Train to compete in pitch competitions and continuously refine business models to scale operations.
