DEGREE OUTCOMES
- Students will critically analyze and articulate the multidisciplinary perspectives of public safety and/or environmental health and safety.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to work with various inter- and multi-disciplinary organizations needed to better prevent and mitigate the impact of various actions/events upon a community, region, or state.
- Students will become proficient in identifying and utilizing information and psychomotor skills in critical incidents and issues within public safety and/or environmental health and safety.
- Apply effective interpersonal communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills commensurate with their defined level of responsibility within the workplace.
- Demonstrate a solid foundation of knowledge and psychomotor skills within their assigned role in public safety and/or environmental health and safety.
- Demonstrate safe practices and procedures by utilizing minimum standards of safety procedures compliant with modern industry standards.
- The student will apply knowledge and skills that prepare them for future leadership positions within public safety and or environmental health and safety.
