- Demonstrate knowledge of the role of a patient care tech and demonstrate competency in the skills that fall in the scope of practice of a patient care technician, which include general patient care, patient specimens, phlebotomy, and EKG.
- Demonstrate knowledge of compliance, safety, and professional responsibility.
- Demonstrate competency in crafting, organizing, and expressing ideas clearly through the written language, and understanding of use of critical thinking and reading in the writing process.
