Further explores multiple lighting set-ups, studio flash, location lighting, and special effects. Emphasis will be put on conceptualizing the photograph from start to finish.
MAJOR COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of this course the student will be expected to:
- Work with multiple lighting set-ups with both continuous and stroboscopic lighting.
- Demonstrate ability to control and modify light.
- Demonstrate the ability to control the image perspective and focus in a variety of situations.
- Photograph products and people with current industry expectations.
- Choose the appropriate focal length lens for a given assignment.
- Produce photographs that exhibit conceptual thinking ability.
- Demonstrate that adequate research has been completed to formulate a pre-visualized end result.
- Demonstrate the ability to choose appropriate backgrounds.
- Support assignment work with well thought out presentations in critiques.
