Nursing Paramedic to ASN Transition, AS Completion Guide

Pre-requisites

*ATI TEAS test must be passed before TEAS deadline date with a proficient, advanced, or exemplary. Make application to PARM to ASN Transitional track of ASN program. Application & Deadline dates can be found at https://www.ivytech.edu/nursing/

• ENGL 111 - English Composition CREDIT HOURS: 3
• PSYC 101 - Introduction to Psychology CREDIT HOURS: 3
• APHY 101 - Anatomy and Physiology I CREDIT HOURS: 3

• IVYT 112 is a college requirement for this Associate of Science degree.  It is intended that students complete IVYT 112 prior to admission, but it can also be completed at any time during the nrursing program prior to completion. 

Program Acceptance and Entry

Note:

8-Weeks 2, 3, 4 and parts of 5 may be interchanged. All general education courses must be completed prior to starting NRSG 208  with the exception of Communications elective and Behavioral Health Elective.
NRSG 200 /NRSG 201  may be offered over 8 or 16 weeks dependent no term offered and clinical availability at each campus. NRSG 208  offered over 8 or 16 weeks dependent on campus and computer lab availability.

At completion, graduates are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Once the exam is passed, the credential earned is the RN (Registered Nurse).
