Pre-requisites
*ATI TEAS test must be passed before TEAS deadline date with a proficient, advanced, or exemplary. Make application to Practical Nursing program. Application & Deadline dates can be found at https://www.ivytech.edu/nursing/
Program Acceptance and Entry
8-Week 2
Note: APHY 102 may be completed in 8 or 16 week blocks dependent on campus where offered.
At the end of term 2, students are eligible to take the C.N.A. certification exam, but it is not required.
8-Week 5
At completion, students are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-PN exam. Once the exam is passed, the credential earned is the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). Parts of terms 3, 4, and 5 may be interchanged. Pharmacology must be taken with the first 11X level course and NRSG 128 must be taken in the last term or spread over the last two terms dependent on classroom and computer lab availability.
